Barker Transport Engineering Pty Ltd originated in South Australia in 2002, building Aluminium Tippers, & making repairs in all sorts of areas, specialising in aluminium, stainless steel & steel. With more than 20 years of industry experience we can try to help you with your requirements, whether the job is big or small, call in and see Paul and discuss your needs, general or commercial, Barker Transport Engineering can handle just about anything.

the move to kalbarri

Life in Perth was hectic! Traffic was crazy, people were crazy, work was often busy one minute and then nothing the next, so we decided a move up north was the way to go. Choosing Kalbarri was easy, we needed a lifestyle change, not to get rich but to live life richly. We had been to Kalbarri for annual fishing trips with friends and had often commented what it would be like to live there. Moving was tough, selling the house in Perth even tougher but we love it here! After selling the house we purchased Murchison Boat Hire as it seems you should have your hands in lots of pots in a small town and we do love our fishing so it seemed destined! James joined us at the end of 2017 and has shown some interest in welding, boat and vehicle mechanics and even woodworking! We have moved in to all sorts of areas for repairs so call in and chat about how we can help you!
